This webinar aims to present a pedagogical technique for consultants that draws on sociolinguistic conversation analysis to help consultants identify and adapt to differences in conversation styles, resulting in more inclusive practices during consultations. The speakers use conversation analysis to provide a framework for understanding the dynamics of conversation styles at play, providing an interactive module that helps consultants to identify and reflect on their own preferred styles and how these preferences impact their tutoring.
