In each session, writing consultants have the opportunity to take initiative in creating practical applications of theory. Consultants are constantly challenged because each writer is different, thus writing consultants must be adaptable. We want to spend some time learning about the practical ways Kentucky writing consultants adapt in their sessions with writers. What are some practices you can share with your colleagues at other colleges and universities? We’re all trained and educated differently--what theories do you find most applicable to your practice? How are you utilizing pedagogical theory as you employ your practices? At this conference, you’ll get the chance to meet other writing consultants and learn from your colleagues across the state of Kentucky.
