On Saturday, September 29 from 10 am- 3pm, The Write From the Start Writing and Communication Center at Nova Southeastern University, and the Reading Writing Center at Florida State University hosted the 2018 SWCA Florida Tutor Collaboration Day, generously sponsored by the Southeastern Writing Center Association, the Composition, Rhetoric, and Digital Media Master’s Program at NSU, and the English Department at FSU.
The 2018 TCD brought together tutors, directors, and writing centers across the state to network, participate in collaborative and interactive workshops, engage in professional development, build a technology toolkit, and apply for the 2019 SWCA conference. The SWCA President, Graham Stowe, started the day with a virtual keynote and multiple sessions were streamed live between the two locations, to make the day as collaborative as possible.
Get social with us for TCD! We’ll be live streaming sessions throughout the day on our SWCA Florida Facebook page. You can find photo recaps on NSU’s WCC Facebook and Instagram pages.
